Ezekiel Akem, CPA, CMA – Chairman

Ezekiel has demonstrated a strong commitment to creating sustainable value in companies and assets. He values teamwork, partnership, and service excellence. These qualities have been at the core of his execution strategy. With his strong connections in energy, materials, and information technology sectors in Africa and Canada, Ezekiel has made tremendous contributions towards driving astronomical growth in companies through business partnerships, new product introductions, mergers & acquisitions, balance sheet optimization, and robust expense management.

 

Ezekiel is also the President of Relibridge Inc, a Canadian private equity firm that owns a majority stake in KFT Engenharia Lda and KFT Magnet.  He always seeks win-win deals and opportunities that will not only create great financial returns but also drive social change and improve the lives of the people in the community that Relibridge’s portfolio businesses serve. This is something that Ezekiel takes seriously and he has been championing various initiatives to ensure Relibridge doesn’t deviate from its core values. He believes that businesses exist to make everyday life better for all and generating profit is simply a means to achieve that objective.

 

With strong determination and discipline, Ezekiel has been able to lead KFT Engenharia Lda and KFT Magnet through very difficult and challenging times. He continues to seek new ways of creating unique and sustainable value and ensuring that high standards are met at all times.

 

Ezekiel has obtained an Honours degree in Banking & Finance, a Masters in Finance, and is also a Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada.

 

Kenneth Fon - CEO

Mr. Kenneth Fon Tekoh is the founder of KFT and brings to the company more than seventeen years of cross-industry experience in information technology, business consulting, financial services and aviation shaped with an exemplary entrepreneurial spirit. He runs the company as CEO and Business Analyst for Cameroon and Sao Tome and Principe.

He coordinates and manages all company businesses towards profitability and sustainability. Supervise all the departments of the company to ensure efficiency and adherence to business processes and procedures. He ensures the effective functioning of the business and is accountable for the general success of the company.

He is fortunate to be mentored by Dr. Jonathan Otamiri of Delta Oil International among others who have many years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

He has lived and worked in different parts of the world including Nigeria, Kenya and Cameroon.

He holds a bachelor's degree in banking and finance with several on-the-job certifications in different industrial fields where he has worked.

 

Ndi Divine – Operations and Compliance Director

Mr. Ndi Divine  has a corporate experience in Banking and Finance, expertise Strategic International Management , Financial economics & Global markets, competitor analysis, strategy determination, Conception of Business plans, Financial statement analysis, performance indicator detection, Business Letter writing, excellent analytical skills, high creativity and communication ability (English and French), reliable motivation for self-improvement and positively commended for reliability and trustworthiness. I have a strong ability to judge the right amounts and skills needed to accomplish particular tasks, which assists me to overcome challenges in new companies and positions.

Divine is an accredited Financial Analyst by the American Academy of Financial Management, USA, July 2015 and also an accredited Management Consultant by the American Academy of Financial Management, USA, July 2015. He is also a holder of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Ajou University of South Korea (2014) and Bachelor of Science (Bsc.) in Economics at University of Buea – Cameroon (2004).

 

Dr. Jorge Coelho – President, KFT Engenharia Lda

He understands the cultural and business content of the Sao Tome and Principe market and ideally positions the company to emerge business opportunities. We also leverage on his several years of cross-industry and governmental agencies management to provide winning edge strategies and policies that will ensure that the company wins contracts and continue to deliver value to its customers.

He has worked with several insurance and construction companies in Portugal, the USA, Brazil, and Mexico. He is an applier of the business culture of Portuguese speaking countries in strategies that helps the company to better position at all time with respect to the relevant business environment and context.

 

Wilfred Asi – Finance Director

Mr. Wilfred Asi is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant and a Certified Accounting Technician with several years of cross-industry experience. 

The scope of his expertise is extensive and includes the full complement of corporate finance, accounting, strategy formulation, budgeting, banking, taxation, treasury, internal controls, projects, commercial finance (decision support), performance management, reporting functions, FMCG, Telecoms, oil and gas, agriculture, NGO’s and management of audits.  

He is a business partner to Management and Board and has proven expertise in linking finance with operations to improve productivity, efficiency, and bottom-line results. Before joining KFT, he was formerly working for Afrimax (T/A Vodafone Cameroon) to build, develop and operate finance and supply chain function delivering value to the business, maintaining a robust control and risk environment at optimal cost/service balance. This position was part of the in-country Senior Management Team reporting to the local Chief Executive Officer (CEO), with a functional line to the Group Finance Director (GFD). In this role, he had demonstrated not only expertise in financial management in high growth and challenging business environment but also was able to contribute effectively to strategy development, business & operational performance, and provide leadership to the overall organization.

Before joining Afrimax (T/A Vodafone Cameroon), he worked for Diageo Guinness Cameroon, West, and Central Africa cluster to provide finance and accounting expertise in the transformation of the business following controls breakdown and decline.  e created a rock-solid control environment to support corporate growth as the company transitioned from loss-making and deficient audit ratings to sustainable profitability and satisfactory audit ratings. He was the business leader on the successful leading-edge ERP SAP/SBM and the migration of back-office operations to the shared service center's design and implementation project. 

Before joining Diageo Guinness Cameroon, he worked for MTN Cameroon shortly after launch to design and implement processes & procedures; and financial systems and controls that would guarantee the integrity of financial and management data/reporting.  He championed the implementation of and migration of transactions onto Oracle.  He contributed significantly to building a common understanding of MTN cost efficiency across all activities and functions, identified and prioritized areas for improvement that yielded an excess of 15% cost reduction.
